We understand how frustrating it can be to begin the estate planning process with no idea of the cost. To make things easier, we offer several estate planning packages based on your needs so you know exactly what to expect! 


Although most estates fall under our pricing below, sometimes specialized clauses or unique situations may incur additional customization fees.  You will be provided with a quote at the end of your attorney consult with no surprises.

Our Estate Planning Packages

Will Package

Protects in case of incapacity

Our will package is the simplest estate plan designed for individuals (single or married) that do not own any real estate and have taken care of beneficiary designations on their cash assets.


Package includes:

  • Last Will & Testament
  • Guardian Nomination (if minor children)
  • Financial Power of Attorney
  • Advanced Healthcare Directive
  • HIPAA Authorization


$900 Individual

$1,800 Couple


Also Included:

  • Document Summary
  • Digital PDF of signed documents
  • Notarization (if signed in office)*

Basic Trust Package

Protects from probate and incapacity

Our basic trust package is for individuals or married couples that own a property and are leaving their estate outright to their beneficiaries.


This package is best for those with adult beneficiaries.


Package includes all documents in the Will Package plus:

  • Revocable Living Trust
  • Trust Certification
  • Schedule of Assets
  • Declaration of Trust
  • Assignment of Personal Property and Addendum for gifts
  • Deed transfer for 1 property (recording costs included if primary residence*)


$1,800 Individual

$3,000 Married


Also Included:

  • Trust and Document Summary
  • Digital PDF of signed documents
  • Notarization (if signed in office)*
  • E-Recording fee with County*

Standard Trust Package

Protects from probate and incapacity

Our standard trust package is our most common plan and is for individuals or married couples that own one or multiple properties and are leaving their estate  in a more structured way (at ages, in trust) or have other customizations such as rights to occupy, and/or specific gifts that require more unique customizations to your situation.


This package is best for those with minor children or more complicated distributions to beneficiaries.


Package includes all documents in the Basic Trust Package plus your more in depth customizations.


$2,000 Individual

$3,500 Married

  • Digital PDF of signed documents
  • Notarization (if signed in office)*
  • E-Recording fee with County*

Updates to existing Trusts

If you already have a revocable trust (not created by Shaw Legal Office, APC) that needs updating, we will restate your trust (not amend), making the necessary changes but keep the same original trust name and date.  You'll need to provide us with your current documents for review.


Package only includes trust documents*:

  • Trust Restatement
  • New pour-over will
  • New Trust Certification
  • Updated Schedule of Assets
  • Assignment of Personal Property and Addendum


$1,000 Individual

$1,600 Married


*If you also need to update power of attorney and healthcare documents the pricing will be reflected above in our basic or standard trust package (as these include all documents). 


Any specific customization taken over from old documents or in depth review of current documents may incur additional fees.
